It started off well, and history while always have fond memories of the personal computer and The Internet, but is it going to remain around until next century, or is it over today?
And then the system failed, and they didn’t know why.
The Internet has always had a problem with cheaper and free, everything that can be done on the Internet today, could be done in the 00’s by outsourcing. Of the many groups that you can join on The Internet, and I have joined several, there remains a mistrust for The Internet that has been growing stronger overtime.
It is hard to imagine life without The World Wide Web
Too often we forget about the network infrastructure that builds The Web along with all the hardware and software that goes into it. These hidden aspects are huge in expense, and poor in maintenance. With cheaper comes consequences, for nothing is ever truly free. What comes as a direct action of recent technological trends, has meant an Internet that is failing. The Internet we have sure is free, and it sure isn’t good.
Do Internet Users own the infastructure
Imagine where YouTube costed $20 USD a month, and 100% went to YouTubers based on video plays, YouTube accepts donations, and makes its goal to build the best video hosting platform around, even if they are already, what could be better?
Open Source YouTube!
That is The Internet we used to have, but in recent memories it is so far hidden away as to not be visible to the average user, in the quest towards free, you lose quality.
Respect takes time and isn’t instantaneous
Is there direct communication anymore, or it’s it all tarnished. Is the system going to get better, or is it going to fail? Given how huge of investment it is, I would love to see Web 3.0 built from the ground up to be good and just and fair.
History while always remember The Internet, especially if it is over tonight
If The Internet were to stay around until 2030, what could it change to make being online better in your opinion? If it is going away, what is your fondest Internet memory? Corruption stops anything being for good. Imagine an Internet where the YouTube ad sells something, and you buy it, an online subscription, and you truly do earn $75,000 through it. But is The Internet honest? While it ever be?
Be good to those who are good to you
